Dear Neighbor:

I wanted to take a moment to personally thank all of the wonderful people who worked so hard and gave so much to my campaign this year. As anyone who has endured one of my stump speeches, I always make it a point that volunteers and supporters are necessary to the success of any campaign – this is no less the case with my campaign.

There are too many people to list individually for the many hours of hard work, stuffing envelopes, making phone calls, standing in the cold and the rain waving signs; and all the others that have given of their personal time, their love, and their care for my family and me. Your support is appreciated, and will never be forgotten.

There are a couple of people who worked on the campaign this year, who merit some special recognition. Lynda Schramm, who was out there in all weather waving signs with a bright smile and a good word; to Kathy Swann, who was there with encouragement; and Debbie Tainter who always showed up for some of the most tedious work, but always did it with a smile. Brent Harland, is probably the most dedicated and loyal PCO a candidate could ever hope for; always ready to drive me around the district to doorbell or put up signs. To all of the students from the Inglemoor High School Senior Issues Class who came out to doorbell and phone bank, I hope that the experience was as positive for you as I was impressed and encouraged by the quality of kids we have in our district, and knowing that this is the next generation of citizens.

I want to thank Brendan Woodward, our intrepid campaign manager, who started his first day on this campaign running—and we kept him running right to the end. Thank you for all your hard work; you have found friends and place in the political history of our district. I enjoyed your youthful perspective and enthusiasm and along with Jack & Maureen Richardson and Rick Miller – you are indeed the sign kings. To Marisa DiLorenzo our faithful treasure for her hard work and cheerful attitude every week. And finally, I would like to thank my very good friend Scott Jewett and the rest of my campaign team and staff, who gave so much of themselves this year.

Thank you again for all of your generosity, your support, and your friendship these last several months and years. It is truly a humbling experience to have this kind of support – it was an incredible and life-changing experience.

Very truly yours,
Jeffrey Possinger, Shelli Possinger & Family

I am running for the State Legislature to address a number of issues that are important to me and to those that live in my district. With all of the uncertainty that exists today, I believe that Washington has an opportunity that can be seized. As a state, we have an opportunity to be competitive on a global level and to benefit from a thriving and vital role in the world. It is time for strategic thinking and a new vision in Olympia.
